Mireille Cyr is a licensed psychologist and a full professor in the Department of Psychology at the Universite de Montreal. She is the co-holder of the Marie-Vincent Interuniversity Chair on sexual assault against children and a member of the Sexual Violence and Health Team (EVISSA). Among other research in child sexual abuse, she has conducted studies on the French version of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development Protocol that is now taught in Quebec, Canada and in many French-speaking countries in Europe. Dr. Cyr is a founding member of CRIPCAS, serving as its scientific director from 2011-2022. Her research focuses on child sexual abuse, the after effects linked to these assaults, the impact of disclosure on the non-offending caregiver, and child witness testimony.
